CARVEC Remote Vehicle Control System

Welcome to the home of CARVEC helicopter flight control.

CARVEC is an electronic helicopter autopilot system designed to provide a stable aerial platform with minimum workload and training of the operator. It utilises the latest technology to enable small-size UAV aircraft to be used in applications where it was previously impossible.

Congratulations to team Thales for their award during the MOD Grand Challenge. CARVEC supplied the 2 Kestrel-2000 UAV systems which performed successfully despite winds of up to 40mph.

The new Kestrel-1000ES is released with Hampshire Fire & Rescue as the launch customer.
